PRESENTATION

The “Colegio Muntori”, is located in Castalla in the area known as ,The Comarca of L’Alcoia , in the Province of Alicante, Spain.
Castalla derives it’s name from , The Romans, who called it , “Castra Alta.” ……or “ High Fort .” The 11th, Century Moorish Castle dominates , the historical , “ City.” The title “ City,” being bestowed by , Royal Decree on , September 13th.1890 by Augosto D. King Alfonso X111 for, “ It’s increasing population & progress in agriculture,trade & industry .”
During the war of ,Spanish Succession,( 1701-1714), Castalla was given the title, “ Muy Noble, Fiel y Leal.” By Philip V & even today is known as, “ The Noble Town .”

At, The Muntori bi-lingual school , we offer private education facilities from Nursery/ Infant Levels through to High School.
Eventually, on completion of the third phase of construction we will be offering examinations for students wishing to achieve, FCE,( First Certificate in English),this will be taken in the final year of secondary school. This will then be followed by the CAE,( The Certificate In Advanced English).Both examination will be certified by , Cambridge University. Ultimately,in the upper secondary school, Baccalaureate, ( I.B ), will also be incorporated into the examination syllabus.

The school operates under the motto, “ DOCERE ET DELECTARE,” ……To delight & teach & has no religious bias.
We, at the school , believe that, although our essential purpose it , “ To teach,” the learning process, should , & can be made , an enjoyable experience, both, for teacher & pupil.

Although, without doubt, the education of one’s child is ultimately the responsibility of the parent, we , at , “ Colegio Muntori,” maintain that communication between parent, teacher & pupil is an invaluable ingredient in achieving the highest standards.



It is the belief of the school’s director, Eliseo Castello, he, himself ,having had more than 30 years experience within the sector, that , although our essential purpose is to teach, the learning process, can & should be an enjoyable experience.

“ From the onset of this educational project , my primary aim was to convey an optimism, an inspirational attitude , & from that belief to develop & promote the individual ability of the student.
I therefore, drew on this theory & used it as , a cornerstone on which to base my idea. I believe that because we are the educators & because we believe that humans are perfectible we should aim to develop to the absolute maximum, the full potential of our students, both socially & academically. I offer at , “ Colegio Muntori.” This opportunity…… !
The educative process is one of building on the skills of the individual, noticing weakness & acknowledging & correcting it. At the same time, applauding & rewarding outstanding achievement. Every facet of the educative process is formative in some aspect. The student, the educator, the family the , “ Colegio .” & the environment, working together as one body is a guarantee to achieving the aspirations of all individuals both social & academic………”
